Movenpick Hotel Hanoi, Vietnam

Experience the Hanoian art, comfort and cuisine

Whilst taking our tour around the interesting and beautiful country of Vietnam, we made out way to Hanoi, for a luxury stay in Movenpick Hotel. Hanoi has been developed incredibly with modern skyscrapers and a transformed cityscape and this is where we can find Movenpick Hotel. Located in the centre of Hanoi’s business district it is ideally placed for travel, leisure and easy access to the amenities offered by the city. It’s a little way from the airport (about 40 minutes’ drive) but easy to find and to get to.

Arrival and Welcome

We received a wonderful welcome from the reception staff at Movenpick, who were very friendly, welcoming and polite. With a very stylish and grand entrance, stylish modern rooms, and spacious design, it’s an impressive and grand place to walk into. The hotel is easy to check into and offers a transport service to and from the nearest airport, Noi Bai international airport.

Suite

Our suite was well equiped with outstanding facilities such as safe, personalized tv, mini bar, aircondition, study table, sofa chair, toilet, and a separate shower room. Have a look at the video below to check it out.

Breakfast

The breakfast was a real treat. There was a variety of selection offered including separate section for making eggy dishes. I always look forwards to having some great breakfast to start my day.

Facilities

The hotel offers a good range of facilities for the luxury traveller but markets itself as suitable for both business and leisure travel. It has some beautiful and functional conference rooms, with state of the art meeting facilities such as  4 multipurpose venues which can hold up to about 110 people, board room facilities, banqueting facilities, integrated staging, and natural daylight.

However, for our stay we were much more interested in the leisure facilities. I am pleased to say there are plenty of in hotel experiences to enjoy. There is a kinetic gym and wellness centre, and those all important massage and sauna facilities.

Dining

Movenpick Hanoi, has a wonderful restaurant and dining facilities called “Mangosteen”. Decorated in beautiful white, browns and purple, and an amazingly huge and glittering chandelier at the entrance. The restaurant offers A La Carte menu and all day dining, with both Vietnamese and international foods. A great place to dine in comfort and taste the delights on offer. Check out my other blog for Mangosteen restaurant.
