Cervo Mountain Boutique Resort

When we first arrived at Cervo Mountain Boutique Resort after a tiring train journey, I knew we had arrived at a special resort. We were greeted by friendly and professional staff who treated us with respect and warmth, politely took our bags and made us feel very welcome. Soon afterwards, we were guided upstairs to the open top balcony bar onto an embankment overlooking the beautiful town of Zermatt.

I will always remember the delicious taste of the welcome glass of Champagne we were given, as I looked out over the wooden balcony at the breath taking view of the villas and winding mountain paths of Zermatt in the early evening air. It’s a memory I will always cherish.

After taking some time to take a short rest, the resort staff showed us around the resort and then up to our Luxury Suite. The resort was set out in a luxury wood cabin style, with a comfort room complete with a library of books, comfortable seating areas, fantastic restaurant and large Wellbeing Spa with outdoor Jacuzzi, Massage room, Steam room, and Sauna.

Our Luxury Suite was truly breathtaking. It has a large bed, mini bar, coffee maker, wardrobe and plenty of cupboard space, and with a log style balcony overlooking the town below. There was an absolutely beautiful open rainfall shower and spacious alabaster bath, which I can tell you was a great comfort to relax in at the end of the day. I have never experienced a bath as large or as comfortable as the one in the Cervo Mountain Boutique Resort Luxury Suite.

The room was supplied with Molbry bath and shower products and so the bathing experience became truly luxurious when I added menthol bath salts to the warm water!

The breakfasts were wonderful, with premier quality food and presentation. Staff were on hand to present you with a menu selection as well as access to the buffet bar. There was a wide selection of cheeses and breads, fruits, bacon, eggs, hams, nuts, and smoothie drinks.
